Early in the year the booklet “Let’s Get Acquainted – a user-friendly guide to worship at St. James’” was updated with new information, and in October a welcome page for newcomers containing answers to potential questions about worship at St. James’ was created for the website and also added to the printed newcomers’ information in the atrium.
A Newcomer's event was postponed until 2023.
In 2022 we received fourteen "Welcome to St. James’" cards with requests for information about worship, music, children/youth programs, etc. In 2023 we are planning to reach out to these new individuals and families, identify their needs and interests, and schedule a social event to welcome them as members of our St. James’ faith community.
