Outreach Update: April 2024
After much discussion and research, the Outreach Committee has decided to support St. Vincent's Center, a school for Haitian children with disabilities, with a $1000. donation. You can find out more at http://www.stvincentshaiti.org . This is our global outreach along with Camp Hispaniola. St. Vincent's is so much more than a school, there is a medical clinic and a brace shop. See the email from a trustee with an update given the unrest in Haiti below. I think it will be clear that our donation will be meaningful and secure. Of course there are opportunities for individual donations online! Copies of the newsletter will be in the Atrium, you are welcome to take one.

Also this week we will be sending a $500. check to Covenant Soup Kitchen in Willimantic in recognition of Carolyn Aramini's Polar Plunge. We supported this Soup kitchen last year. It plays a vital role in the community. To learn more go to: www.covenantsoupkitchen.org/
