Senior Warden Message May 10, 2023
Dear Siblings in Christ,
Happy warm, spring day to you. On Saturday, our outreach clearly reached beyond our church walls as we shared our St. James’ hospitality with others at our Afternoon Tea. Some were our friends and neighbors but others we did not previously know. By filling the different roles for the Tea, we were able to get to know each other better and rebuild our St. James’ community. Again, a hearty Thank You to all who helped in any capacity.
The Vestry is now reviewing the Letter of Agreement recommended by the diocese and are preparing to further work out the details with our Priest-In-Charge candidate. We cannot make an announcement until every item is agreed to and signed. I can tell you that we have agreed to a very likely July 1st start date at St. James’. As a Vestry, we are quite happy and excited and hope our St. James’ community will be, too!
