LUNCH IN THE PARK – SATURDAY, APRIL 29TH
“Lunch in the Park” is a ministry that provides a bag lunch for people following Church by the Pond, a weekly outdoor service near the Bushnell Park carousel in Hartford coordinated by Christ Church Cathedral. About 20-60 people, many of them homeless and living in shelters, attend the service and/or gather for lunch. We are one of many local ecumenical organizations that provide these lunches.
On April 29th it is our turn to provide the lunches, and we are looking for volunteers to:

bake cookies & drop them off

prepare 45-50 bag lunches – approximately 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

transport the lunches to the park and distribute them – approximately 1:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
