Resumes this fall

Middle School

This engaged group of Grades 5-8  explores ways to actively live their faith. Meeting weekly on Sunday mornings, these pre-teens discuss scripture and embark on projects that spread Christ’s love. Examples include raising money for the homeless community through selling sandwiches for the Super Bowl and raising money for local animal shelters.

REFUGE: The Youth of St. James"

Meeting weekly on Sunday evenings, these teenagers discuss issues of faith, doubt, and ask questions about daily issues.  They engage in a brief period of worship and Eucharist at the start of each meeting, followed by times of fellowship, education, and a shared meal every week.  Members of REFUGE are actively involved in the annual Heads Up Hartford service camp each June, and work throughout the year to help make their attendance possible. All High School aged young people are welcome to join us for our weekly meetings.
