This Soup Lunch will be held after the 10:15am service in order to raise funds for the mission trip to Camp Coast Care. The Outreach committee will provide the soups and donations will be accepted.
Please join the Outreach Committee for a Soup Lunch following the 10:15 AM service on Sunday, March 7th. We plan to serve several delicious soups, maybe even some chili and “mac and cheese”, plus yummy crusty bread for your enjoyment. The Outreach Committee will be accepting donations of $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 10 to help with the expenses of our upcoming mission trip to the Gulf Coast. where work is still in progress from Hurricane Katrina. At the present time we have 8 members of the church who plan to participate on this mission trip scheduled for the April school vacation week. In addition, the committee is always looking for funds to support our outreach to local as well as worldwide programs. There is a special need for funds to sponsor inner city children at HEADS UP HARTFORD to be held in June. We hope to see many of you at lunch on the 7th where, as always, the most important thing will be the fellowship that comes from breaking bread with fellow members of St. James.
