Welcome

Welcome to the community of St. James’ Episcopal Church. It is our mission to grow spiritually and spread Christ’s love. Whoever you are, and wherever you are on your faith journey, we welcome you! We are diverse in age, but strong in Spirit. We have different beliefs about God and the Church. We come from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and towns. Our family compositions aren’t all the same. We celebrate our diversity.

We honor the dignity of every human being, offer pastoral care, and prayers for one another. We try to speak the truth in love, and listen to what the Spirit is saying to God’s people. We feel our strengths lie in the areas of worship, Christian education, and fellowship. We are eager to welcome and help newcomers find a comfortable place in the life of our community. Please let any of the clergy, staff, or lay leaders know how we might help you to grow spiritually and spread Christ’s love. Welcome!
